all my bags are packed, and i'm ready to go...
this is going to be random rantings of the past few days. i'm to tired to think coherently:- the last of our furniture moved out today. there are just random miscellaneous things left back, things which cannot be sorted, or put into any specific carton or bag, and thus linger on to the very last minute, till they are put together with similar things, and thus form a 'group of things', which can be put into a carton or a bag...
there's just the dining table and two chairs left behind. the bare minimum, that i need to be able to work on the laptop. and i have the responsibility of dismantling the table, and moving all three to the new place.
- one portfolio for the technical vivas is done quite well, the other is *ahem* not in a very pleasing state. tomorrow's day will be crucial.
- design viva was quite decent. i was sent in first. a first for me.
- major things are packed, for the holiday, but the tiny misc things are going to take a while. i dont even know if i have everything i want
- dealt with a varied bunch of people over the last few days: scrap dealers particualry interested in aluminium doors, bhangar-wallahs curious about why the entire building is emptying out, building neighbours wanting to compare notes on handy men, barber at the renovated salon justifying longer hair on a long face, bai complaining about a running tap, adios to a professor, old school friends wanting to catch up, internet cable guys, uncles wanting us to carry wedding photos, aunties wanting to send chivda and mithais, new developer's plans and the disagreements over the new kitchen layout, finding out rates at plotter guys, rickshaw guys pleases with a 180 rs bill, fellow class mates comparing duct sizes, other fellow class mates whose calls i couldn't answer ...
- will probably connect next to the net from the other hemisphere now. ciao.
